#newtovc: Evaluating Fund Investments

#newtovc is an educational series for a group of relatively new investors who want to be exposed to the best venture and startup thinking. This is a group of accredited investors and non-partner VCs that skew, not exclusively, but intentionally towards diverse backgrounds.

Many angels start out by getting allocation in one or more venture capital funds as a way to diversify, get co-investment dealflow, and get connected to the ecosystem. How can you tell which funds are built to outperform, which strategies are viable, and who has the best access to dealflow? In this session, we'll talk about how LPs can think about evaluating a fund investment.
